New Rugby, Soccer, Hockey and GAA websites just launched

It has been a busy few months for the Sportlomo Sports Manager web design team.  We are finding many Leagues and Clubs are now looking to redesign their website for mobile (cell) and tablet.

The demand from players, supporters and fans to be able to check up the latest scores and news on their sport on their phone and tablet is ever increasing.  Sportlomo recently redeveloped an extensive Youth GAA Website.   The Rebel Og website was re-designed for mobile and the views on mobile has been staggering since its launch.  In the first 3 months of the new site, 65% of visitors accessed the site on their mobile and an additional 10.87% viewed the site on tablet.  See Case Study on this Youth GAA organisation, Rebel óg for more information.   View the Rebelog.ie website.

St Finians new Website goes Live

Since the meeting of the 22nd July 1983 from which emerged Cumann Naomh Fhionnáin, a club fielding one adult football team and two juvenile teams in both hurling and football, the club has grown from strength to strength. St Finian’s GAA Club now fields teams at adult and juvenile level in Camogie, Hurling, and Ladies and Men’s Football. A perusal of the club’s history will show the success achieved both on and off the field of play.

St. Finian’s not only caters for the GAA needs in the parish of its foundation Rivervalley but also in the surrounding areas that include Boroimhe, Ridgewood, and Holywell. The tenacity and vision shown by the club’s founders sowed the seeds of a community and has reaped the rewards of success not only on the playing fields but also through the involvement of hundreds of members and in taking possession of their clubhouse facilities at the beginning of 2010.

From its inception St. Finian’s GAA Club has emphasized the importance of promoting the values and aspirations of the Gaelic Athletic Association. Their focus as a club has always been, and will continue to be, the achievement of excellence on the playing fields.

Through the hard work and dedication of its members, through an inclusive and welcoming approach, and through the application of the highest of standards in fair play St. Finian’s GAA Club is, and will continue to be, a club that engenders great pride in everyone associated with it.

Dubai Celts GAA launch new website

We are happy to announce Dubai Celts GAA new website is now live.

Over the last 22 years, Dubai Celts have evolved into a well recognised global GAA entity, where the GAA All-stars have visited on two separate occasions. For many expats seeking to emigrate to the Arab Gulf, the GAA club has always been the first port of call, for advice and general low down of the territory. It’s great to say that this mentality is alive and well in Dubai & long may it continue.

In total, they’ve welcomed 68 new members to their club across all grades this year, where teams typically train on a Sunday & Tuesday evening & Friday morning in the state of the art facility at Dubai Sports City.

New highly visual designed Dubai Celts website

This year was a very successful year for the Celts. They were recognised by Croke Park as having the youngest committee in the GAA Global Units and consequently selected by Croke Park as the venue to host the 2016 GAA All-Stars to correspond with their theme of “youth & innovation”.  Furthermore, they were selected to host the opening round of the Middle East Leagues as part of the Dubai Duty-Free GAA Irish Festival as a result of the success of last year’s event in Dubai Sports City, in what was a truly memorable night.

Muskerry GAA new website goes live

We are delighted to announce a beautiful new website for Muskerry GAA.

Muskerry GAA is a Gaelic football and Hurling division located in the middle region of County Cork, Ireland. It is one of eight divisions of Cork GAA County Board. Muskerry GAA organizes competitions for the clubs within the division, from “Under 12” up to the adult level. The winners of these competitions compete against other divisional champions to determine which club is the county champion.

Muskerry GAA was established in 1925. Hurling was the major game in the Division at that particular time. A Minor Hurling Championship was introduced in 1926. The following year a Minor Football Championship was introduced. From this more Clubs were formed which participated in both codes and all Championships. In Football the historic outright Cork Senior Football Championship Title victory in 1970 was a particular significant achievement for the club.

Avondhu new mobile friendly website goes live

We are delighted to announce a beautiful new mobile friendly website for Avondhu GAA.

Avondhu GAA is a Gaelic football and Hurling division in the north of Cork, Ireland. The division includes teams such as Charleville, Mallow, Fermoy, and Mitchelstown. It is one of eight divisions of Cork County Board. It organizes competitions for the clubs within the division, at adult level.

The winners of these competitions compete against other divisional champions to determine which club is the county champion. In addition, the division selects football and hurling teams from the adult teams playing at junior level or county intermediate level, and these then compete for the Cork GAA Senior Football Championship and Cork Senior Hurling Championship.  Cork GAA County Board Website
