Customer Support and Success Specialist

Location: Castlebar, Co. Mayo, Ireland + hybrid working

Mayo, we serve international sports governing bodies with our advanced software solutions.  We have customers in the UK, Ireland, Europe, Canada, USA and Australia. About the Role:

This role is suitable for a college graduate with an interest/some knowledge of sport.

To support our growing expansion we require a Customer Support and Success Specialist, you will be an essential part of our team, ensuring that every customer interaction is a success.

Your responsibilities will include:


  • Customer Interaction: Efficiently managing customer support tickets to resolve issues promptly.
  • Team Collaboration: Working closely with other customer support professionals to enhance service delivery.
  • Resource Development: Developing and refining tools such as how-to documents and instructional videos to aid customers.
  • Customer Onboarding: Partnering with our Project Managers to onboard new sports customers and facilitate their introduction and implementation of the SportLoMo platform.
  • Training and Setup: Conducting training sessions for international and Irish software administrators to maximise their use of our platform.

Who we are Looking for:

The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic graduate, a proactive communicator with a strong background in IT, adept at working both independently and as part of a team. An interest / knowledge of sport will be an advantage.  Recruitment process commencing May 2024.

You should have:


  • Strong interpersonal skills and a good communicator: Clear and effective communication is crucial.
  • Energetic, self-motivated: Ability to take charge of tasks and see them through to completion.
  • Strong writing abilities: Skills to create user-friendly instructional materials.
  • Robust IT skills: Strong IT skills are essential and an ability to learn new skills quickly is important. You will be trained how to use SportLoMo’s bespoke platform.
  • Good organisational skills are desirable.
  • Quick learner with problem-solving skills. You will be involved in collaborating with our team to help develop improvements in our organisational processes.
  • Interest in sports: this would be an advantage.

Salary will be finalised based on the individual’s experience/qualifications.
